Pick three

Your Elective Adventure Dives

Deep and Underwater Navigation are mandatory. These are the three you choose.

Diver hovering beside a magenta soft coral garden

Peak Performance Buoyancy

Most recommended

Fine-tune weighting and trim until hovering takes no effort. Divers typically cut air consumption by 20–30%.

Halik Reef or Meno Wall

Diver silhouetted against a sunburst above a wreck site

Wreck Diver

Bounty Wreck

Assess and navigate a wreck safely, practise mapping, and run simulated penetration lines.

Gili Meno Bounty Wreck, 18 m

Diver drifting along a coral wall

Drift Diver

Flying over the reef

Entries, exits and dive management in current, plus surface signalling devices.

Shark Point or Hans Reef

Anemonefish among a cloud of orange anthias

Fish Identification

For photographers

Learn the reef fish families of the Coral Triangle and run survey techniques from a slate.

Turtle Heaven or Hans Reef

Turtle resting on coral, lit from above

Night Diver

Surcharge applies

Dive lights, night navigation, and a reef that changes completely once the sun goes down.

Meno Slope or the house reef

Day by day

Two Days, Five Dives

No confined water session and almost no theory. You are in the sea from the first morning.

Day 1

Navigation and buoyancy

08:30 – 16:00

The two dives that change how you dive: finding your way without looking up, and stopping the constant correcting.

  • Paperwork, eLearning review and the day's dive plan
  • Adventure Dive 1 — Underwater Navigation at Halik Reef
  • Surface interval and debrief
  • Adventure Dive 2 — Peak Performance Buoyancy at Meno Slope

Day 2

Depth and your electives

08:30 – 17:00

The deep dive to 30 metres, then the two Adventure Dives you chose.

  • Deep dive briefing — physiology and procedures
  • Adventure Dive 3 — Deep Dive at Shark Point or Deep Turbo
  • Surface interval and elective planning
  • Adventure Dives 4 and 5 — your choice
  • Logbooks and your PADI e-card

If more than 12 months have passed since your last dive, PADI standards require a refresher. We recommend a ReActivate session or a Scuba Review with an instructor before the course begins.

After Advanced

Where This Leads

Rescue Diver is the course most divers call the most rewarding one they have taken: preventing and managing incidents, and becoming a genuinely useful buddy. Deep Diver extends you to 40 metres, and Enriched Air is the specialty that buys you longer bottom times. Between courses, our Gili Trawangan shop runs daily fun dives.
