Day 7

  • Final logbook entries
  • Both e-cards processed
  • Snorkel from the beach if you want water
  • Afternoon departure

Day 5 runs to South Lombok and depends on sea state — it is the most exposed water on this itinerary. If conditions close it we move the deep dive to Shark Point and keep the schedule.

Seven days of diving

Pacing and Safety

Nitrogen loading

Six consecutive diving days is a real load. Your instructor plans the profiles conservatively and day seven is dry by design.

Flying after

PADI recommends 18 hours between your last dive and a flight. Day six ends at 16:30, so afternoon of day seven onward is safe.

The southern run

Belongas Bay is more exposed than anything on the Gilis. We cancel or relocate on sea state rather than push it.

Extra time is free

If a skill needs another session it does not cost more, and the week has enough slack to absorb it.

Divers in wetsuits preparing on the teak dive deck

Drink more water than feels necessary. Repetitive diving in 29 °C water dehydrates faster than most divers expect, and dehydration is the single most common reason a week like this starts to feel hard by day five.

Before you commit

Check the Season First

The southern sites on day five are the most weather-dependent part of this week. From May to September they run almost every day; from November to March they are a coin toss. If your dates are flexible, pick them around this.
